A double purging
Christmas was great this year. While Thanksgiving provided a crowded house (which is good too), Christmas was more relaxed than it's ever been. All the MIT gear went over well, and there were a few surprises for my parents that I pulled out of my sleeve at the last minute too. We're getting our carpet replaced, and I'm sitting here looking at my half-dismantled room, wondering how much I can force myself to get rid of. Next to me is my light brite I got just a few years ago, and that could come in handy for something fun anytime! I have an overflow of stuffed animals, but I don't like to get rid of them unless I can't remember what they're from, and I've already done that purge. And how about the knick-knacks which look cute here, but I would never decorate my real house with them. But they're special to me. Can I please get rid of my packrat genes? My mother is itching to get in here with a large trash bag, but I won't allow that yet.
As for the last post, you might be wondering what happened. I still was thinking the same stuff after a few more days, so I talked to him, and it was good to clear those thoughts out of my head and with him. I don't know if I feel any better, but thank you for listening and understanding.
