3. What did you do for St. Patty's Day in 2005?: I was visiting MIT on the grad visit day, so I did the grad school visit thing for a while, then Darius and I had dinner without green beer.

April

2. Did you go on any vacations last June: No, but I went to the Dominican Republic in August! And in May I went to a Conference in Cocoa Beach, which was awesome. We saw the shuttle being rolled back, from maybe 100 yards away.

July

1. What did you do on the 4th of July?: Went to a party at Wiley's and shot off my first model rocket, which I promptly lost.

2. Went on any vacations during this month?: No, but did I mention The Dominican Republic? :-) And somewhere in here I went to New York for the weekend to meet up with Eric and see my grandma, which was also cool.

August

1. Did you do anything special to end off your summer? Went to La Romana with my best friend Lindsay, turned 22, and moved to Boston.

2. What was your favorite summer memory of '05?: Finally going out! Being introduced to Carlos O'Kelley's and karaoke, Auld Shebeen (formerly Ned's), and Mr. Days'. Hanging out with Madelyn, Natalie, and the crew. Getting Lindsay up to speed, and not doing too shabby myself (yay for 28 year olds!).

3. Do you go swimming a lot in the summer?: No, sadly. I need to do more of that.

4. Do you go to the beach a lot? No, but I need to do more of that too.

2. Who is/was your favorite teacher?: Col. Keesee. He's my advsior, and he's awesome.

3. Do you like fall better than summer? Yeah, I would say so. The weather is Boston was still gorgeous, and while the leaves weren't outstanding this year, it was still nice.

3. What do you want this year for christmas?: Hockey gear, Trader Joe's gift certificates, bathrobe, sleeping bag

4. What's the best present you ever got for Christmas?: I don't know if I can think of a favorite. Most everything has been really special to me.

5. Do you like cold weather?: Yeah but maybe not January in Boston...we'll see about that

6. How would you rate your 05(1-10)?: Overall I'd give it a 9.5. There were a few pitfalls that brought it down (the first week on Jan, the end of Feb, some weeks of schoolwork, and a few other tough moments), but I have had a ton of fun this year. From graduating to living with Lindsay at home, to moving to Boston and LOVING it, it can't get much better.

per Biff's request for a comment ... I would like to claim 3 mentions of my name and would like to believe that 2005 would not have been nearly as much fun without me :-D
